Robert D. Mollard enjoys a most varied and eclectic musical career. He is an active conductor, keyboardist, organ recitalist and singer, and he has performed all over the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. His organ performance in Beijing drew audience members onto the stage to get a closer look.
He has collaborated with many artists, including Sherill Milnes, Kathleen Battle, Jeanette Sourel, and Dave Brubeck. Additionally, he has worked with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, The Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Singers Companye, Summit Choral Society, Telarc Records, the Concert Artist Division of Steinway Piano Company, and he has been Director of Music at a number of major churches and synagogues in Cincinnati and Akron, Ohio.
He is the Principal Keyboardist for the Akron Symphony Orchestra (Ohio), performing piano, organ, harpsichord, celesta and digital keyboard. He recently performed Gershwin’s Songbook for solo piano with the ASO, and Vivaldi’s Seasons (harpsichord) with Olivier Brault. He is the Founding Director of the Crooked River Chorale, and is the Organist/Choir Director at Faith Lutheran Church, Fairlawn, and teams up with cellist Greg Fiocca as the duo named MOCA
Mr. Mollard is Founder and President of Mollard Conducting Batons Inc. the leading manufacturer of products for professional conductors worldwide. Bob and his wife Connie have three children, two grand children, and a plethora of other critters.
